what are the bmi ranges for an asian female? i understand they are different to the caucasian bmi ranges.

Healthy BMI for Asian female is 23 or below, as opposed to 25 or below for a Caucasian person.

If that is the maximum for an asian female, what is the minimum? (I know the minimum for a caucasian person is 18.5) 16.5?

I think the minimum is still 18.5 - the healthiest range for a caucasian is actually 20 to 25. Overall the WHO range 18.5 to 25 (which I think is for all races).

hrmm i think that is way too thin as a 40kg. I'm 156cm and i weight 46kg.
