negative calories in celery
Home > Weight Loss Questions > negative calories in celery
I've heard that digesting celery uses more calories than you gain from eating it. So if I were counting calories and was to over eat for a day, I could eat celery to "get back" calories. Is there any truth to this?

I think celery is very easy for your body to digest and is mostly fiber, so it probably makes no difference at all. So it would be good to fill up on, so you don't feel hungry, but not to "get back" calories
